Add customers
Keeping allows you to log hours on Projects for Clients. To use Clients, projects must be enabled for your organisation.
As an admin or organisation owner, you can create a new client by going to Settings → Management → Clients and clicking the green 'New Client' button. Creating a client is simple. Type the name of the new client in the window and click Continue. You can also assign a unique reference to a client. When creating a client, first type the client’s name, followed by #desired client code. If this unique reference is specified, it (e.g., #PJ for 'Pieter-Jan') can be found throughout the application. When creating a project, you can quickly find the client by searching for the unique reference.

There are several other places where you can easily and quickly create a new client, such as in Edit Project, if you want to link a new client to a project. If you create a new client there, you’ll enter a separate screen. You can also access this detailed screen by going to Settings → Management → Clients and pressing ctrl / ⌘ and clicking + New Client.
