New (beta): recurring time registrations and calendar suggestions

Do you regularly register the same hours? With the new beta functionality you can let time registrations repeat automatically and get suggestions for registrations based on your calendar.

No need to enter the same thing every week

Many team members register nearly the same hours every week: the same project, the same task, the same time. This costs time every week and is prone to errors. That's why we're testing two new features, currently available in beta: recurring time registrations and calendar suggestions.

Recurring time registration

When creating a new time registration, you'll now find the "Recurring registration" section. Here you set the interval at which the registration should repeat. Optionally, you also fill in how often this should happen and until which date. This way, you only need to enter a recurring appointment, such as a weekly meeting, once.

Setting up a recurring time registration (beta)

Once set up, you can immediately see in the weekly overview which registrations repeat.

From "My hours" you can navigate to the overview of all active recurring registrations.

Suggestions from your calendar

You can also link calendars to an organisation via your account, to get suggestions for time registrations based on appointments in your calendar. Keeping will already make a suggestion based on your calendar, which you can accept with a single click. That's convenient!

Still under development

Both features are currently available in Keeping as a beta, so we can further refine them based on your feedback. Run into anything, or have ideas for improvement? Feel free to let us know via support.

The benefits of recurring registrations and calendar suggestions

  • Less repeated work; Set up recurring registrations once.
  • Fewer forgotten hours; Suggestions from your calendar help you remember what still needs registering.
  • You stay in control; You decide the interval, the number of repetitions and whether you accept a suggestion.
