Precise Time Tracking for Every Todo in Todoist

Todoist is a program to keep track of and organize all your tasks. With a user-friendly and modern interface, it’s easy to create a clear plan of your tasks and subtasks. We’re excited to make our time tracking available within Todoist.

The Todoist integration is exclusively available for the Todoist web application.

Keeping now integrates directly with GitHub to track your hours for software projects

A Plus subscription is required to link with an external project management program. Additionally, a separate Todoist account is needed, and a Todoist subscription is not included.

Todoist Time Tracking Integration with Keeping

At Keeping, we’re fans of tools that make your work easier, and Todoist is certainly one of those tools — something we’ve also heard from our users! That’s why we’ve worked hard on the time tracking integration for Todoist. With the new integration, you can easily track your hours in Todoist using Keeping, adding even more detail to your time tracking.

How Does It Work?

We’ve developed two browser extensions for Keeping: the Chrome extension and the Firefox add-on. Through these browser extensions, Keeping can connect to external websites like Todoist. We make a Keeping button available directly in the Todoist interface, allowing you to start time tracking next to each todo in your list. You’ll also see the same Keeping button for convenience on each todo's details screen.

Time Tracking Linked to a Todo in Todoist

We make time tracking with additional details, like a linked Todoist task, easily accessible in the associated time registration. This way, each time entry has a link to the Todoist page it's linked to. You can also view a list of time entries for a specific todo directly from Todoist.
