Update: Our general terms and conditions are changing
Our new general terms and conditions are in line with our services and are completely ready for the future.
New general terms and conditions as of February 1, 2025
Our new general terms and conditions will come into effect as of February 1, 2025. We are doing this to ensure that our conditions are exactly aligned with the services that Keeping provides. As a Keeping user, you will hardly notice this, but for us as a SaaS (Software as a Service) this is of great importance.
Old general terms and conditions
Are the old general terms and conditions bad? Certainly not. However, these outdated terms and conditions do contain various matters that do not apply to a SaaS, such as articles that describe a client and contractor relationship.
Given that Keeping B.V. is a SaaS, a client and contractor relationship is therefore not an issue and the agreement between us and our customers was not fully described, completely new general terms and conditions have been drawn up.
The old terms and conditions were also based on the Netherlands ICT Terms and Conditions 2014 and therefore logically due for an update.
Legally correct without legal jargon
Our new general terms and conditions have been created in collaboration with a legal firm that specializes in SaaS and software suppliers. This, in combination with clear language, ensures that the new terms and conditions are easy to read, describe relevant situations and do not contain unnecessary filler. In short: more clarity for everyone.
Future changes
Because the change compared to the old general terms and conditions is very large, it is not possible to indicate the differences in one overview. In the future, changes will be clearly indicated. By agreeing to the new general terms and conditions, you therefore also agree to the current version (2.0.2). In the event of changes, this blog will clearly indicate which articles have been tightened or added.
