To link your time entries to your calendar, you need at least a Plus subscription.

View Your Time Entries Directly in Your Calendar

The calendar integration allows you to import all your time entries from Keeping directly into your own calendar application. This is done using the iCal format, a widely-used standard in the digital world, supported by major companies such as Apple, Google, and Microsoft.

This means you can view all your time entries in your calendar on both your laptop and phone with just a single click.

How Far Back Can I View My Time Entries?

Generally, the calendar integration works per calendar year. The day you request the calendar link from your hours overview determines the year displayed in your calendar. For example, if you view July 2, 2019, the entire year 2019 will be shown in your calendar. To display a different year, go to any day in that year in My Hours and follow the same steps.

Can I View Team Members' Hours in My Calendar?

As a regular team member, you can only view your own hours in your calendar. However, as an admin or organisation owner, you can request a calendar link for each team member in your organisation to view their hours in your calendar. To do this, go to the hours overview of the team member whose hours you want to see and follow the same steps as you would for your own hours.

How Often Does the Calendar Update?

This depends on the calendar application. Some applications allow you to choose an update interval, while others handle this automatically in the background. The most accurate answer is: once or multiple times per day.

The Calendar Link

Note: The calendar integration in Keeping is based on an iCal link. The link you receive is your personal hours link. Ensure that this link is known only to you. Anyone with this link can import your hours into a calendar application in the same way.

The calendar integration is one-way only. All time entries you log in Keeping will automatically appear in your calendar.
