Using Jira Modern with Keeping

To integrate with an external project management program, you need at least Keeping Plus. A separate Atlassian account is required, and any necessary Jira subscription is not included.

Where Can I Find the Keeping Button?

How Do I Start a New Time Tracking via Jira Modern?

You can start a new time tracking entry directly from Jira Modern by using the plus sign in the Keeping button:

Jira Modern Issue Is Linked Immediately When Starting Time Tracking

In the new window that appears, you can fill in the details of your time tracking and click start. The Jira Modern issue you clicked on is automatically linked to the new time tracking.

How Do I Link an Ongoing Time Tracking to a Jira Modern Issue?

If you have an ongoing time tracking in Keeping, you can use the extension directly in Jira Modern to link the current time tracking to a Jira Modern issue.

Creating the Link

In Jira Modern, navigate to your issue list or issue detail screen and use the blue link button.
