Payment methods

What are the payment options?

You can pay for Keeping via direct debit or credit card. If neither option is suitable, please contact us at [email protected].

How does direct debit work?

Keeping currently supports direct debit payments from Dutch or Belgian bank accounts. After entering your organisation's bank account details, you will see a direct debit authorization form. You can easily sign it with your mouse—or finger on a touchscreen. Once signed, the payment method is added, authorizing us to debit your account.

We use SEPA Core direct debits, allowing you to request a reversal through your online banking within 8 weeks. Should you do this, we will ask you to manually transfer the invoice amount.

If a direct debit fails (for example, due to insufficient funds), we will also ask you to make a manual payment. After the invoice expires, you will receive a reminder email with the details.

Where can I find my direct debit authorization?

You can download the signed direct debit authorization at any time from your subscription overview screen. Navigate to SettingsSubscription and under Payment Method, you'll find the authorization available for download in PDF format.

How does credit card payment work?

You can also pay via credit card. We accept a variety of international credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Simply enter your credit card details, and we will automatically charge the amount due each month.

For added security, only our payment provider, Stripe, stores your payment details, so Keeping does not have access to your credit card information.

In some cases, we may ask for additional verification, such as 3D Secure, when you enter your credit card details. Follow the steps in the verification process to complete your credit card setup. The exact steps depend on your bank.

If a credit card payment fails (e.g., due to insufficient funds), we will ask you to make a manual payment. You’ll receive a reminder email with all the details once the invoice expires.

Is it possible to pay by bank transfer?

In certain cases, we allow payments via bank transfer. For manual payments, it is essential to pay within 14 days after receiving the invoice. Interested? Please contact [email protected].

Is it possible to pay in advance?

Yes, it is possible to make a large lump-sum payment, which reduces invoice frequency and administration. We offer lump-sum payments starting at €5,000, adding credit to your Keeping environment. Interested? Contact [email protected].

What happens if I don’t pay?

If payment is not made, access to the Keeping environment will be restricted. Under no circumstances will we delete any data without a request.

If payment remains outstanding after several reminders, we will apply statutory interest and collection fees. It is also possible we will assign the debt to a collection agency.
