Using Tags

To use tags in Keeping, you need at least Keeping Pro. In addition, tags must be enabled.

The tags functionality allows you to assign one or more tags to each time entry, for example for things you want to track but which do not belong to a specific task or project. Because tags can span multiple projects and tasks, you can gain insights across different tasks and/or projects for various tags.

Managing Tags

Navigate via SettingsManagement to Tags. Here you will see an overview of the tags you have already added, and you can add a new tag using the green + New tag button.

Adding Default Tags

You can easily link default tags per project and/or task so that they are always automatically added to a time entry. To do this, navigate via Settings > Management to the project or task where you want to link the tag. In the left navigation bar, go to Default tags and select the desired tags. This tag will then automatically be added to every new time entry under this project or task.
