Error messages at Exact Online
To integrate with an invoicing program, you need at least a Keeping Plus subscription. A separate Exact Online account is required, and any necessary Exact Online subscription is not included.
You may encounter an error message when attempting to link with Exact Online. Keeping needs access to all administrations in your Exact organisation, allowing you to choose which administration to link with Keeping. Here’s how to grant Keeping access to the various administrations:
- Log in to Exact Online.
- Click on your username (upper right corner arrow).
- Go to My Exact Online > Select Security Center.
- Scroll down to the section "Permissions for my apps" > Click on Keeping (NL).
- In the lower right, click "Manage administrations".
- Select the relevant administration to add by checking it in the "Available administrations" column. For first-time integration, all administrations need to be selected.
- Click the right arrow to move the selected administrations to the "Selected administrations" column.
- Click "Save and close."
When linking Keeping, after granting permission within Exact, you will be redirected back to Keeping. All divisions are retrieved, allowing you to select one for the connection. If Keeping doesn’t have permission to retrieve the entire list (if not all administrations are selected), this will result in an error.
